‘F9’ director Justin Lin reveals how much work he put into a crazy 4-second car stunt

Making a Fast and Furious movie for fans to enjoy is no easy task. F9 director Justin lin He reminded us of this when, on Super Bowl Sunday, he shared a clip from the next installment of the franchise that revealed all the work that went into making a four-second stunt shot go smoothly. Lin shared the clip after the F9 The Super Bowl trailer was released. As well as teasing even more mind-blowing action and all of our favorite characters returning to kick some serious butt, the trailer touts the return of the Fast and Furious franchise after getting a launch date delay in 2020.

The behind-the-scenes clip that Lin shared on Sunday night shows us how one of the craziest takes of the F9 The Super Bowl trailer was made. Basically, the shot we see in the trailer begins with a car speeding down the street. Suddenly the car is thrown sideways into a shop window, through that store, and then comes out of another wall and through a truck. It is a reminder that the action of F9 will go up a few notches, with larger action pieces than we’ve seen in any of the above Fast and Furious films. Lin shared the behind-the-scenes clip on Twitter, which reveals how long it took to get this shot: “A 4-second shot on # F9. 8 months of preparation. 4 days of production. 3 cars destroyed. Over a hundred of the most dedicated and talented team work. best job in the world! ”

If this is the kind of dedication that went into making a single shot happen, then Fast and Furious Fans should be excited to see what else this penultimate installment of the franchise has in store. As mentioned above, we know that many Fast and Furious Franchise favorites will return for this round, including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Helen mirrenY Sung Kang |. But action wise and how will each of these stars handle all of these great stunts? Well, we’ll have to wait and see.
