How Rex from Clone Wars may appear on Obi-Wan Kenobi’s show


Now that Temuera Morrison has returned to Star Wars to play Boba Fett in The Mandalorian, he could also play Captain Rex on the Obi-Wan Kenobi show.

Star Wars, the clone wars’ Captain Rex May Make His Live-Action Debut at Upcoming Disney + Obi-Wan Kenobi show, thanks to The mandalorian season 2. Disney has already brought several animated characters Star Wars live action characters such as Bo-Katan Kryze and Ahsoka Tano. Rex is a perfect choice for transitioning, and could play an important role in the Obi Wan Show.

In The Clone Wars, Captain Rex is the main clone character. Others like Commander Cody, Fives, and Echo have strong bows and recurring roles, but Rex is the primary lens through which viewers view the ground-level fighting of the Clone Wars. As leader of Anakin’s 501stS t battalion, Rex was also a close friend and confidant of Skywalker, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka Tano. With Ahsoka’s help, Rex resisted Order 66 and Palpatine’s mind control and went into hiding with some other free-minded clones. He eventually joins the rebellion against the Empire in Star wars rebels and also fights throughout the Galactic Civil War.

Rex’s story between the end of The Clone Wars and its appearance in Rebels – the period of time during which the Obi-Wan Kenobi show is set – remains unknown. Presumably, he spent most of that time hiding in Seelos, but it’s quite possible that he left at different times, especially if there was a big enough reason. Helping out an old friend like Obi-Wan would certainly fit that category, and it would be a huge surprise if Rex appeared on the next show.

Thanks to The mandalorian, Rex has a perfect way to get into the action live Star Wars world. After years away from the franchise, Temuera Morrison, the original Jango Fett, returned to play an older, scarred Boba Fett alongside Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin. Morrison is the perfect age to play Rex for years to come. Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sithand has already caused quite a stir with Star Wars fans. Bringing him back to play Rex as well would be the perfect way to keep the story of the beloved character going.

Even if Rex doesn’t play in the immediate history of the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, it might still appear in flashbacks. Many fans are hoping that the series will finally bring some of The Clone Wars’ Best moments for live action when Obi-Wan looks back on his time in the war, and that could be a great place for Rex to make a cameo as well. Either way, Rex has a lot of ways to get in. Obi-Wan Kenobi show, any of which would be a real treat for fans of The Clone Wars Y Star Wars: rebels.
