Former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Nina Bo’nina Brown was criticized by fans for a transphobic comment directed at season 13 standout Gottmik.

The insensitive comment came from a video Brown made recapping the VH1 series for his fans. It was directly referring to Gottmik, a drag queen currently competing in the show’s thirteenth season. Gottmik identifies as a transgender man when he has no problems.
Brown rose to prominence by appearing on the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. The Atlanta queen finished in sixth place. She stood out with creative makeups and iconic moments like beating Valentina in a lip sync. Nina has uploaded a series of videos to the Internet from her experience on reality television. Brown shadowed Gottmik’s anatomy while responding to a comment that said Gottmik’s crease was on point. the RuPaul’s Drag Race The community prides itself on being a safe and inclusive space, which is why it is very frustrating when such blatant negativity occurs. Hopefully, Nina Bo’nina Brown will learn her lesson and refrain from transphobic speech in the future. Gottmik is still in the running to be crowned America’s next drag superstar!
