Zack Snyder addresses lack of Joker tattoos, sort of

Zack Snyder explained the design change behind Jared Leto’s Joker returning in the Snyder Cut of Justice League minus any of his infamous tattoos.

Due to his appearance in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Jared Leto’s Joker will not sport the tattoos he used in Suicide Squad. Director Zack Snyder has shed some light on what led to this design change.
