Joss Whedon was not allowed to be alone with Michelle Trachtenberg on the set of ‘Buffy’

Joss Whedon was banned from being alone with Michelle Trachtenberg on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Michelle Trachtenberg stepped forward with her support for Charisma Carpenter earlier this week, stating that Whedon’s behavior on set was not “appropriate.” Additionally, actress Eliza Dushku has also come forward to support Carpenter’s claims. Carpenter, Trachtenberg, Dushku, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Amber Benson contend that Whedon “abused his power” and created an “increasingly volatile work environment.”

After Charisma Carpenter presented her lengthy accusations against Joss Whedon, partner Buffy the Vampire Slayer Star Sarah Michelle Gellar supported her claims on social media, noting that she was proud of the show but didn’t want her name to be associated with Whedon’s for the rest of her life. Michelle Trachtenberg did the same, noting: “Thank you [Gellar] for saying this. I’m brave enough now as a 35 year old woman … to re-post this. Why. This must. Be known. As a young man. With his inappropriate behavior …… “

Since reposting his support and sharing his own allegations, Michelle Trachtenberg edited his original statement. “The last. Comment I’ll make on this. It was. There was a rule. Say. You are not allowed to be alone in a room with Michelle again.” The actress worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer from 15 to 18 years old. Trachtenberg did not elaborate on why Whedon was not allowed to be alone with her “again.” The Charisma Carpenter allegations quickly won the support of Amber Benson, who also worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, together with others.

Now, actress Eliza Dushku has come forward with her own support. “CC, my heart aches for you and I am so sorry that you have withheld this for so long. Your post was powerful, painful and painted an image that collectively we will never stop seeing or disregarding,” he said on social media. “I often think of the saying, ‘We are as sick as our secrets,'” Dushku continued in his post. “Our secrets make us sick and keep us sick.” Emma Caulfield also offered to support Charisma Carpenter, saying, “I admire, respect and love you,” while republishing Sarah Michelle Gellar’s post. Buffy the Vampire Slayer Star Anthony Stewart Head is struggling with all the Joss Whedon allegations that have come up over the last week. I had this to say.

“I’ve been awake … most of the night just going over my memories, thinking, ‘What did I miss?’ Because this is not a man who says, ‘I didn’t see it, so it didn’t happen.’ I can’t, I’m devastated, I’m seriously devastated. Because one of my best memories was that it was so enriching, not just in the words of the script, but just the familiar feel of the show … I ‘It makes me very sad if people went through these experiences … I was like a father figure … I would hope someone would come to me and say,’ I’m struggling, I’m just of having a horrible conversation. ‘”

Charisma Carpenter was originally introduced due to League of Justice star Ray Fisher’s own accusations against Joss Whedon. Since then he has been fired from The flash film after declaring that he would never work with the president of DC Films, Walter Hamada. As of this writing, Whedon has not come out to address these new allegations. You can read Michelle Trachtenberg’s Official Edited Instagram post above.
