Keanu Reeves reportedly turned down the role of Spider-Man villain Kraven the Hunter in Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SUMC).

Keanu Reeves has reportedly turned down the role of Spider-Man villain Kraven the Hunter.

According to industry insider Skyler Shuler, Reeves decided to stop playing Kraven. “I was just told that Keanu Reeves was contacted by Kraven, but passed away months ago,” Shuler wrote. He also confirmed that Illuminerdi, who first reported that Keanu Reeves had been contacted for the role of Kraven, was accurate in posting. No details were given as to why Reeves turned down the role.

A Kraven the hunter The film has been in development at Sony as part of the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SUMC).
