The God of Thunder and the God of Mischief collide in this exclusive preview of Thor & Loki: Double Trouble, by Mariko Tamaki and Gurihiru.
In March, Asgard will have a double problem.
Marvel has unveiled a preview of their upcoming four-issue series, Thor and Loki: double trouble. Written by Mariko Tamaki (Wonder Woman, X-23) and illustrated by the Japanese team Gurihiru (The unstoppable wasp, Superman crushes the Klan), the preview shows the two brothers in front of the Asgardian people in an effort to win their favor and affection.
The series, which was announced in December last year, begins with Loki challenging Thor to steal a powerful artifact from his father Odin’s vault. And while the God of Mischief has always been happy to get his brother in trouble, this trick can go too far.
“The Gurihiru are amazing,” Tamaki said at the time of the announcement. “This comic is so deeply adorable it’s ridiculous. I’m so excited to be able to write some more adventures with Marvel characters, especially Thor and Loki.” The two previously worked together on the four-part Marvel series. Spider-Man & Venom: Double Trouble, which saw Web-Slinger and Venom swapping bodies.
Written by Mariko Tamaki and illustrated by Gurihiru, Thor and Loki: double trouble # 1 goes on sale March 10 from Marvel Comics.
