Two of the biggest bugs in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, like invisible hit markers, have been fixed in a new patch from Raven Software.
Two of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Y War zoneThe biggest glitches have been fixed. War zone has been plagued with a rather annoying critical bug that prevents players from knowing if they are reaching their goal while Modern war Players haven’t been able to level up their weapons at all. Needless to say, it has caused numerous headaches for gamers.
Though Black Ops Cold War Is the new Obligations (and it sells like hot cakes), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare it is still booming. The 2019 entry is still considered a favorite among fans, especially since it is deeply rooted in War zone. Both games helped Activision to have an incredibly successful 2020 as War zone managed to fall just as the pandemic began forcing everyone to stay inside. Along with regular content updates, the two were a powerful duo that provided Obligations fans one of the best post-launch supports for a CoD title in quite some time.

Sadly, that doesn’t mean that both games didn’t have their own issues. Recently, War zone has been fighting invisible hitmarkers when they shoot people. This means that the game doesn’t give them feedback on whether their shots are hitting someone, which is a problem in a game where every hit counts and players don’t know if they need to adjust their shots. Thankfully, Cuervo Software has confirmed that the issue has been fixed, as well as a weapon XP issue that does not count as part of a new update.
📄 #Warzone momentarily active update:
• Fixed issue that caused hit markers to not appear consistently
• Fixed issue where Weapon XP was not being awarded as expected in MW multiplayer
• Fixed issue with UI items in equipment menu.
• Updated names of Valentine’s weekend playlists

The update also includes fixes to loading screen UI elements, as well as new playlist names for Valentine’s Day. Raven is also investigating an issue that causes armor plate drops to be inconsistent on the Warzone map, but no fix has yet been announced.
With all that said, it’s good to see that Raven is committed to quickly fixing the problems that cause some of the biggest annoyances in Modern war Y War zone. There are still a lot of issues within the game such as a general cheating issue causing a lot of issues in each and every last Obligations game. Hopefully Sledgehammer Games will have less trouble with things like this as they are reportedly developing the 2021 iteration of Obligations. It’s unclear what it will look like, but Activision is committed to making War zone something long-term, so the two are likely to blend in somehow.
