But Elle’s life is turned upside down when mean girls make Elle kiss the most undesirable student. Instead, however, she ends up kissing her longtime crush, Noah Flynn, who is also her best friend’s brother.

This movie has everything a teen movie should have: an invisible girl who became popular, a bad boy from school who falls in love with her, prom date, and high school parties. The plot is not complicated at all and is intended to be viewed for sheer pleasure.

9 Sierra Burgess Is A Loser (2018)

In a common teenage love story, the antagonist bullies the main character and does everything he can to make his life miserable. In Sierra Burgess is a loser, the bad girl helps Sierra win the heart of her high school crush. They start out as staunch rivals, but when they finally meet, they decide to form a team.

Although the story is enjoyable, there are several troublesome scenes including backstabbing, lies on social media, and cat fishing. That being said, there is nothing too serious or sensitive about these particular scenes and audiences will still find this movie hilarious.

8 The Perfect Date (2019)

In the age of technology, anything is possible, even finding the perfect date. Brooks Rattigan, a student who dreams of entering an Ivy League, saves money for college by creating an app that allows the user to customize it as their perfect date for any occasion and get paid in return. The twist occurs when you go on a date with someone you developed feelings for.

At the end of the movie, Brooks realized something important: if you pretend to be someone you won’t get what you want, be it the school of your dreams or the girl of your dreams, so it’s not worth it.

Due to an illness that prevents her from being exposed to direct sunlight, Katie Price has been protected her entire life. It only comes out when the sun goes down when it can play music for random strangers. When she meets Charlie, she begins to fall in love with him and tries to hide her illness.

The film also portrays a father’s love for his dying daughter, and although it hurts him, it tries to give him the opportunity to fulfill his dreams, even if it costs him his life. The movie ends tragically, so get ready for an emotional rollercoaster.

5 Five feet apart (2019)

Seventeen-year-old Stella has lived with cystic fibrosis for most of her life, so her regular day includes medications, routine, checkups, and limits.
