Zack Snyder’s Justice League Teaser Brings The Dark Knight Returns Tank

A new teaser clip for Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max brings fans a tank that resembles the one from The Dark Knight Returns.

An exciting new clip for Zack Snyder’s Justice League has been released ahead of tomorrow’s full trailer, showcasing superhero action, new gadgets, and Darkseid’s forces.

The 18-second clip features brief glimpses of Wonder Woman taking on Steppenwolf, Cyborg flying into action, and Batman, preparing for combat with greater force with a tank that resembles the substantial vehicle featured in Frank Miller and Klaus Janson. The Dark Knight Returns.

The Dark Knight Returns is a four-issue miniseries, first published in 1986. Written by Frank Miller, who also provided illustrations with Klaus Janson and colorist Lynn Varley. The Dark Knight Returns followed a much older Batman, returning to a dystopian Gotham after giving up the mantle. The Batmobile that appeared in the series resembled a tank, complete with continuous tracks and a bat head.

A trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League is scheduled to premiere on February 14. Previously released clips have revealed that the director’s next cut will include new characters, such as Darkseid and Granny Goodness.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The film hits HBO Max on March 18.
