The trailer for the next Walker episode sees Cordell Walker reportedly returning incognito, leading to a heated confrontation with his son August.
WalkerThe latest promo for its fifth episode “Duke” teases Cordell Walker by coming back incognito while complicating things with his family once again.
The trailer begins with Walker (Jared Padalecki) taking off his uniform in the middle of a road before re-dressing in a Texas Rangers baseball cap, a plaid button-down shirt, and a silver cross. He then goes on to Cordell’s brother, Liam (Keegan Allen), saying that “if it’s sunk again, it’s a last resort,” and another officer responds forcefully, “300K mysteriously disappeared. They’re making a run for lost money before running away. from the city “. The “they” in question is revealed to be Walker and a mysterious blonde woman, who briefly share a romantic moment together.
The promotion also sparks a conflict between Cordell, his son August (Kale Culley), and fellow Texas Ranger Micki (Lindsey Morgan) over the decision to revert to his covert identity. He even goes so far as to yell at August when he asks if “you’re just going to leave again”, and the consequences of how these decisions will affect their relationship in the future remain unknown.
A reboot of the Walker, Texas Ranger series starring Chuck Norris, Walker follows its main character as he returns home after nearly a year of undercover police work following the mysterious death of his wife Emily (Genevieve Padalecki). Now, dealing with a teenage son and daughter who resent him for not being there during the duel, Walker must balance his attempts to be a good father with his commitment to Ranger’s work and seek answers about what happened to Emily. This includes working alongside Micki on several cases, who is also looking to prove herself against the expectations of being the state’s first female Texas Ranger.
