Ronnie and his brother, Jonah, stay with their father for the summer and learn that he is terminally ill. As Ronnie re-learns to love his father and his music, he also falls in love with Will Blakelee (Liam Hemsworth). Although the selection is not typical of Disney +, it is good to see the leadership of Hannah Montana in one of his earliest more mature roles.
