After Cordell Walker’s son August unknowingly sent a message to one of the bank robbers his father ran with while on an undercover mission for the FBI, the law enforcement officer’s past life is He abruptly intruded on the progress he had made in reconciling with his family. And while the stakes are high in “Duke,” the latest episode of WalkerThe starting Texas Ranger and his confidence in his team has seen him not only emerge intact once again, but with the opportunity to finally put that unresolved past to rest. The last episode of Walker It begins with a flashback from four months earlier, while Walker works undercover. It was revealed that the Texas Ranger cover had him cleaned up after the rodeos under the alias Duke Culpepper, eventually impressing a regular named Twyla Jean. Back in the present, the realization that the group he infiltrated while undercover knows that they are active again causes Walker to have a brief panic attack and land August on the spot. Driving to a secluded location, Walker disguises himself as Duke before meeting Twyla at a cheap motel.

After having an argument with her boyfriend Trey about taking their relationship to the next level, Micki Ramirez is informed about Walker’s sting operation by an FBI operative, Captain Larry James, and Walker’s district attorney’s brother, Liam. Learning that $ 300,000 is still missing, the FBI is skeptical that Walker is clean after he refused to testify for fear of exposing his family to retaliation from bank robbers, known as the Rodeo Kings.

While Walker and Twyla meet their violent partner Jackson at a karaoke bar, Micki secretly follows them, with the FBI and the Texas Rangers in contact. Seeing Jackson brandishing his gun as he approaches Walker, Micki decides to interrupt the process by introducing himself to the group, quickly making up the alias for Adrianna and introducing herself as an old friend of Walker / Duke. Walker and Micki think fast and plan a new heist to catch the remaining bank robbers. Hearing her plot, Liam recalls convincing Walker to take more time on undercover work while building a more extensive case against thieves.

August tracks down Walker and nearly uncovers his cover by confronting him in anger for potentially abandoning his family again in favor of undercover work. While Walker maintains his cover, he is visibly concerned about the trade before there is a flashback to the day his initial assignment ended. Cornered by the Texas Rangers and the FBI, gang leader Clint West fired on the law while his fatally wounded girlfriend Crystal hid the $ 300,000 stolen in a karaoke jukebox. In the present, Crystal tries to steal the money for her, but is intercepted by the FBI before witnessing Walker fake the death of her Duke character in a fake shooting.

In the immediate aftermath of the raid, Walker makes it clear to Liam that he shouldn’t feel guilty about keeping him undercover for longer than he wanted. Privately, Liam reveals to Captain James that there are irregularities in Emily’s murder, although for now they are withholding this information from Walker. Back at the ranch, Walker assures August that he will not return incognito and burns all the remaining items of Duke’s character with his family.

The dangers to the professional lives of Walker and his family have almost met with fatal consequences, but with the help of their new partner Micki, the Texas Ranger and his family have emerged from their confrontation with the remaining bank robbers intact. And while all seems to be fine for the family for now, the secrets surrounding their greatest tragedy are ready to shake Walker and his children to the core.
