What WoW: Burning Crusade Classic is changing

One of WoW: Burning Crusade ClassicThe biggest changes come in the way players are allowed to create Blood Elf and Draenei characters before the expansion’s official release. This will give players time to level their characters up to 60 before Burning crusade launch, an option that was not available in its day.

Blizzard will also offer paid level 58 character upgrades, once per account. These are intended to allow players who did not play Classic WoW to jump straight into the new expansion, instead of spending hundreds of hours leveling up in the original game. In particular, these boosts will not work for Blood Elves and Draenei.

This is a big change from the original, which technically included access to most of the expansion’s content at once, even if most of it was inaccessible without spending hundreds of hours completing various tuning requirements.

Many players complained WoW: ClassicThe raid bosses felt weak, thanks in large part to Classic WoW running on a late game patch that adjusted bosses and game mechanics, often making raids easier. That will not necessarily be the case in Burning Crusade Classic. While it looks like the game will run on an easier late expansion patch as well, certain bosses will be in their pre-nerf states, at least for a while. This means that guilds will likely encounter many more challenging raid encounters in the first few weeks of any raid’s availability, until Blizzard makes adjustments.

With sand being a great endgame activity in WoW: Burning CrusadeBlizzard will also bring some changes on that front. Arena teams will no longer just allow the same number of players as the team pool, which means a 3v3 team can now have more players on the roster. Blizzard is also considering making adjustments to the way the arena’s personal and team skill ratings are calculated, possibly moving it from its current ELO system to a more modern MMR-based system.

Paladin players will experience a huge game changer in WoW: Burning Crusade Classic. In the original version of the expansion, Alliance Paladins received the Seal of Vengeance spell and Horde paladins received Seal of Blood. Players quickly learned that Seal of Blood was superior in almost every respect, so this time around, all paladins will receive both seals, regardless of faction.

Finally, spell batching, essentially how the game server processes game actions, will be removed in WoW: Burning Crusade Classic. In the original Woof Y Classic WoW, the spell grouping window was quite large, which meant that multiple actions could be grouped into a simultaneous “batch”, allowing gameplay interactions that would otherwise be impossible. With modern PCs and internet connections, spell batching is no longer required in the same way, so Blizzard will remove it.
