While Clark may (or may not) appear in The flashBy Henry Cavill Superman The movie laid some foundations for the existence of Kara Zor-El’s DCEU. One of the turning points in the Zack Snyder movie was when Clark Kent discovers the Kryptonian exploration ship that had been on Earth for thousands of years. Inside, Clark discovers several capsules, some with skeletons, while one capsule is seen open with no one inside. This is a follow-up of the events that the Iron Man prequel to the comic, which came out before the movie. The story, which was co-written by Snyder and David S. Goyer, takes place thousands of years before Iron Man while introducing Kara. In the prequel comic, Kara is one of the Kryptonians who leaves Krypton to go on an exploratory mission to discover planets that might inhabit.

But the story’s main villain, Dev-Em, causes trouble for the crew assigned to the scout ship Clark finds in. Iron Man. When they went into cryostasis while traveling to their destination that was supposed to take 10 years, Dev-Em kills everyone except Kara. When Kara wakes up, she discovers that she is alone before confronting Dev-Em. While Dev-Em and Kara have a showdown on board, the ship enters Earth before crashing. While their fate is unknown, a shadowy figure exits the scout ship after it lands on Ellesmere Island, Canada. Thousands of years later, that same ship is discovered by Clark while also operating as Iron ManFortress of Solitude.

The open pod has become a major point of speculation in Iron Man as Snyder confirmed it was a great DCEU setup. Although he didn’t say flatly that it was Kara’s sheath, he also didn’t say it wasn’t. Presumably, Kara has lived on Earth for thousands of years without aging due to her Kryptonian abilities. It’s also possible that Dev-Em survived the crash and is also living on Earth, which could be the payoff Snyder had in mind. However, it is possible The flash I couldn’t even trust that comic. Although many have probably not read it, The flash I could still tie the Iron Man comic book prequel through exhibits and flashbacks, as it features Supergirl in the current DCEU.
