A new trailer for Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon has been released, featuring the original song ‘Lead The Way’ by R&B artist Jhené Aiko.
A new trailer for Raya and the last dragon has been released, giving the public a sample of a new song from the movie.
The trailer features Raya telling the story of his home, Kumandra, and how its people have been divided. “We can unify again,” his father tells him. “But someone has to take the first step.” Also featured are flashes of Raya’s allies, including the dragon Sisu, with the song “Lead the Way” by artist Jhené Aiko.
Raya and the last dragon focuses on a warrior named Raya, who searches for the last living dragon, Sisu, to save her home from monsters known as the Druun and unite her warring factions. Raya and the last dragon It was originally scheduled to premiere last year, but the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic delayed its release. It will now debut simultaneously in theaters and as a Premiere Access title on Disney +, similar to the live-action remake of Mulan which premiered in 2020.
Directed by Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada from a script by Paul Briggs and John Ripa, Raya and the last dragon stars Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, Sandra Oh, Benedict Wong, Izaac Wang, Thalia Tran, Alan Tudyk, Lucille Soong, Patti Harrison, and Ross Butler. The film hits theaters and at Disney + Premiere Access on March 5.
