Once again, Mr. World takes a new form in American Gods, and is looking for a new ally.

Mr. World, played by Crispin Glover, has been a main antagonist of American gods from season 1; However, it has gone through a handful of changes in season 3, starting with “Serious Moonlight.” Deciding to turn things around, Mr. World becomes Ms. World, played by Dominique Jackson, but even this doesn’t last forever.

While World briefly returned to her original form to face Bilquis a few episodes ago, she reverts to being Mrs. World afterward, and “Conscience of the King” briefly sees her in this form until she gets angry that Technical Boy is going off. line. Technical Boy has been failing recently; therefore, he has been ignoring his duties to the New Gods. He is key in Ms. World’s plan to build a church of the mind, so this infuriates her, so much that it takes on a new form once again.

After hearing his subordinates try to ignore Technical Boy’s disappearance, Ms. World turns into a Mr. World played by Danny Trejo. He’s tired of excuses and threatens to get rid of his subordinates unless they can get him Technical Boy. Fortunately for them, Technical Boy arrives, and the two gods manage.

Technical Boy is worried about what is happening to him, and while Mr. World assures him that he is his most important child, moments later, Mr. World is on the phone with someone and talking about how Technical Boy is unreliable due to the status in the one found. is inside. It also alludes to how he is hiding something from the New God.

It is also during this call that Mr. World talks about Laura Moon, who has recently come back to life. He knows that she seeks to cause Mr. Wednesday some trouble as she plans to kill the god for revenge, taking Salim for a walk. Since Mr. Wednesday is one of the biggest threats to the New Gods, she could be a potential ally for Mr. World, so he seeks her out.

After discovering that the Blood Death memorial has been canceled, Laura and Salim have no leads on Mr. Wednesday. For better or for worse, Mr. World arrives on the scene and tells them that they have a common enemy. It’s unclear what this conversation will be like, but with Laura determined to end Wednesday and unlucky, she may accept Mr. World’s help, regardless of her evil plans.
