The production designers of Godzilla vs. Kong discuss creating the look of the film, citing Godzilla vs. Mothra and Godzilla vs. Destoroyah as influences.

Production designers at Godzilla vs. Kong to reveal Godzilla vs. Mothra, Y Godzilla vs. Destoroyah influenced the next blockbuster. The MonsterVerse fight will hit theaters and air next month. The Japanese trailer for the film shows Godzilla beating Kong.

When 2014’s Godzilla It debuted, few could have predicted where the story would go. A central cinematic universe of monsters hasn’t been seen since the early era of Godzilla movies, despite the high demand for such a thing. Legendary’s MonsterVerse has revitalized not only the King of Monsters but King Kong as well. A rematch between these two iconic creatures has been nothing but fan fiction for years. It will soon become a reality. Godzilla vs. KongIn many ways, it’s the culmination of all the previous MonsterVerse movies. Marketing has gone full steam ahead with posters, trailers and products. However, something that has not been discussed much is the development process of the film. It will be interesting to hear how the movie was conceived from start to finish.

During Collider‘s Godzilla vs. Kong On the set visit, production designers Tom Hammock and Owen Paterson discussed the look of the film. They watched 30 Godzilla movies, along with all seven King Kong movies. The designers said they watched the movies to add Easter eggs to Godzilla vs. Kong. Regarding specific influences, designers noted Godzilla vs. Mothra, Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, Y Shin godzilla.

It’s certainly good to hear when the people working on the iconic character adaptation go back and analyze the original material. Based on the images posted so far, Godzilla vs. Kong respect franchises well. One can feel the scale of the monsters, not unlike the scope of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. Shin godzilla He did an amazing job showing how destructive Godzilla would be today if he ravaged a city. Godzilla vs. Kong It seeks to convey that as well, showing that humanity would be in grave danger if the giant reptile turned against them. Of course, it remains to be seen why Godzilla is attacking. So far, almost everything points to Godzilla vs. Kong being the best of MonsterVerse.
