When asked which Marvel Comics hero she would like to play if she had the chance, Daisy Ridley from Star Wars said she would love to play Spider-Woman.
“I would love to play Spider-Woman,” Ridley told author Sariah Wilson when asked about casting rumors that suggested she could play Jessica Drew in Sony Pictures’ Marvel Universe of Characters. Ridley also told Wilson that he loved the animated movie. Spiderman: In the Spider-Verse and has been a huge fan of the latest Marvel series WandaVision.
What many of you have been waiting for: I asked Daisy Ridley if she had heard the Spider-Woman rumors. She said no and asked what they were. I explained it to her and she said, “My gosh, I’d love to play Spider-Woman. But is she more like an extended Spiderverse?”

Ridley is not the first cast member of the Star Wars sequel trilogy to get interested in Marvel. It was recently revealed that his co-star Oscar Isaac will be taking on the role of Moon Knight, who will soon appear in his own MCU series on Disney +.
