Superman & Lois showrunner Todd Helbing talked about how The CW series takes a fresh take on the Arrowverse and the uniqueness of Clark’s world.

Stars Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch reprise their roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane on The CW’s Superman and Lois. While the show is set in the Arrowverse, showrunner Todd Helbing revealed how his approach to superheroes differs from others in his universe.

Helbing, who previously worked on The flash as a writer / executive producer, he shared how he found his unique approach to Superman and Lois in an interview with THAT. “Working in this universe for as long as I did, I wanted to feel that we were part of the whole, [but] we were making these decisions that were very different from many other programs, “he said.
