Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been covered in a blanket of snow for months, so fans may wonder when the first signs of spring will begin.
For players from the Northern Hemisphere, winter has dragged on for many months in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and fans are beginning to wonder if spring will melt the snow from their island homes. The frigid winter season added a nice touch to seasonal events like Toy Day and New Years Eve, but with Festivale now behind the players and excitement starting to build for warmer weather, many will be happy to know that the great thaw is not very far in Animal crossing.
The snow settled Animal crossing islands in December 2020, and with it, players were able to enjoy the magic of winter. The trees were icy white and the characters wore warm winter sweaters, coats and boots as they walked their islands, building Snowboys and decorating for the cold season. It looks like gamers will see the snow melt in late February, with a full thaw around February 24 or 25, depending on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Official Companion Guide, via DualShockers. The green grass and trees will be a perfect touch as players enter in March, helping them prepare for the next crossover event between Animal crossing Y Super Mario Bros.as well as the usual spring break.
