Borderlands to be written by Chernobyl’s Craig Mazin
While his previous career was full of minor mistakes, including Nonsense, Scary Movie 4, The Hangover Part II Y III, Identity Thief, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, RocketMan (not the Elton John biopic), and Superhero movie, which he also directed, Craig Mazin it was tested immensely with the success of the acclaimed HBO miniseries, Chernobyl, for which he won two Emmy Awards, among other recognitions. Virtually overnight, Mazin went from being a paid clerk to one of the most popular pens in town. Now, he is tied to a variety of projects, which will hopefully continue to showcase his proven talents. One of these aforementioned projects is Borderlands.
Previously, from 2016Aaron Berg was commissioned to write this blockbuster, although Craig Mazin produced a new draft of the script around this time last year. It’s unclear how different this version is from Berg’s earlier draft, but it seems Mazin I had a heavy hand in remaking history. It should be noted that, in addition to working on Borderlands, Mazin is also adapting The last of us for HBO.
