A Netflix trailer announces the release date for Jupiter’s Legacy, a superhero series based on the Image Comics title by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely.
Netflix has released a trailer announcing when Jupiter’s Legacy, a live adaptation of Mark Millar and Frank Quitely’s Image Comics series, will debut on the streaming platform.
The 30-second video begins with a voiceover that says, “One day you will be stronger than anyone else in the world,” as a symbol spirals in the dark background. “Every evil you can imagine will rise up against humanity. Not for justice … for revenge. And you will be the future.” Then the officer greets us Jupiter’s legacy title treatment and its release date of May 7.
Jupiter’s legacy is one of many Mark Millar projects Netflix is adapting after the streamer bought its Millarworld label in 2017. An announcement of the first list of projects based on the Millarworld comics included series for Jupiter’s legacy Y American jesus, as well as movies based on Empress, Huck Y Sharkey the bounty hunter.
Creators Mark Millar and Frank Quitely are serving as executive producers on Jupiter’s legacy along with Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Dan McDermott, Steven S. DeKnight, James Middleton and Sang Kyu Kim.
