The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is arguably one of the largest franchises on the planet, spawning over 24 movies and multiple connected TV shows. While the total runtime of the MCU’s Infinity Saga was covered above, you might be wondering how long it would take to finish each episode of all the finished shows that are (at least as of this writing) connected to the MCU. For clarity, the X-Men related shows Legion Y The gifted they will not be counted as they are not tied to the continuity of the MCU.

Agents of SHIELD: Slingshot

Sling is a small digital miniseries produced by Marvel Television that is a product of Agents Of SHIELD. While most of the main cast from the original show returns, the main focus is on Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodríguez (Natalia Cordova-Buckley) aka Slingshot. an inhuman sprinter who is forced to sign the Sokovia Accords, creating a conflict with a personal mission. The series lasted 6 episodes, with a duration of between 4 and 6 minutes. It would take 28 minutes to watch the entire miniseries, or just a little longer than the typical episode of a sitcom.

Netflix series

While it is still unknown whether the Netflix series will remain part of the MCU canon if the characters return to Marvel Studios, the entire Netflix lineup was initially indirectly linked to the events of the Avengers. Taking place in 1946 after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger, Agent Carter follows Peggy Carter as she works for the Strategic Scientific Reserve, which was later taken over by SHIELD Initially, the show was only linked to the MCU through Peggy Carter and Howard Stark, but James D’Arcy’s Edwin Jarvis cameo in Avengers Endgame solidifies this show’s place in the MCU canon.

The inhumans

Inhumans focuses on the Inhuman Royal Family led by Black Bolt (Anson Mount). The show has a unique story. It was initially announced as a movie for the Phase Three roster before becoming a series. After receiving less than stellar reviews from critics and fans alike, the show was canceled after its first season. While the show was initially considered canon, this has been called into question with Ms. Marvel possibly being the one. first inhuman introduced under Marvel Studios.

The first and only season of the show featured 8 episodes, ranging from 41 to 43 minutes. The total execution time of Inhumans adds up to 337 minutes, or 5 hours and 37 minutes very manageable.

Cloak and dagger

Promoting parallel lives swashbuckling

Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph play the iconic teenage superhero couple in this Freeform series. The show revolves around the duo, who are given their powers after an event surrounding the shady Roxxon corporation. After realizing that their powers work better when together, the two set out to become crime fighters. While there aren’t many references to the older MCU, the show still remains part of the MCU continuity as of this writing and has even crossed paths with Fugitives.

Before its cancellation, Cloak and dagger It lasted 2 seasons with a total of 20 episodes, each lasting between 40 and 49 minutes. The total run time for the series is 836 minutes, or 13 hours and 56 minutes.

Fugitives

Based on the comic book series of the same name, the Fugitives A series that aired on Hulu told the story of six super-powered teenagers who team up against their parents and collectively lead a team of supervillains known as Pride. While the show is set in the MCU, it is thematically and physically distant, with only minor nods and references to the other movies and shows. The show was officially canceled after 3 seasons.

Fugitives ended with a total of 33 episodes. The episodes, which lasted approximately 41 to 50 minutes each, accumulate for a total run time of 1,580 minutes, or 26 hours and 20 minutes.

Helstrom

Helstrom was initially announced as part of a separate standalone programming line from the larger MCU called Adventure in fear of former Marvel Television director Jeph Loeb prior to his departure with the company. The only other program advertised for Adventure in fear was the since canceled Ghost Rider series directed by Gabriel Luna.

The show received mostly negative reviews when it launched on Hulu in October 2020, leading to the show being canceled just two months later. A total of 10 episodes were released in its first and only season, lasting between 45 and 56 minutes. According to IMDB, the total duration of the episodes, including credits, is 502 minutes or 8 hours and 22 minutes.

Watching all of the MCU-related TV shows would take 18,539 minutes, or 308 hours and 59 minutes. For anyone willing to take on the daunting task of watching each of these series one after another, it would take more than 12 full days. The amount of MCU-related content is huge, especially when combined with the runtime of the movies, which would add up to a whopping 359 hours of MCU content.
