Gia Giudice, the daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey OG Teresa, responded that her name was used in a questionably appropriate analogy.
Gia Giudice responded to Jackie Goldschneider’s ‘analogy’ from the season eleven premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Goldschneider used the name of Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter when confronting the matriarch over rumors of infidelity. “Well I heard Gia snort coke in the bathroom at parties.” snapped the lawyer during his conversation with Giudice. Goldschneider wanted to explain how spreading false rumors can damage a reputation.
Damaging a reputation is now what puts Goldshneider in the hot seat. People flocked to Gia’s social media pages accusing her of using cocaine with comments like “Is it true that you are addicted to coca?” Y “We sniff a line together”. His Instagram account has become private. Fans of the hit reality show have relentlessly argued over the advisability of involving Gia in such a wild analogy. The twenty-year-old broke her silence after previously issuing only one publicity statement.

“To say that it was an analogy is to excuse it, it is not” tweeted the Rutgers University Student, “My character is now being questioned.” The tweet explained how the analogy could have been made without his name and, due to his inclusion, he has been the victim of malicious misinterpretation. “My name was used to make a point. No one should be used in that way, I am suffering the consequences of such an extravagant and false statement. While their marriage is happy and intact. “ Some comments backed her up, while others argued that she was a fair reply to her mother’s equally outlandish accusation.

Goldscheider doubled down on the inclusion of Giudice’s oldest daughter. “My analogy about Gia was simply an analogy; of course, there was nothing true” Goldschneider tweeted, “The rest of the cast understood this, what they will see in the next few weeks.” The next author went on to say: “The behavior at my husband’s birthday party is really unfortunate: destroying a marriage and a family is not entertainment.” It’s unclear from her Twitter if she feels any responsibility for the online harassment Gia is receiving.
Bringing the kids into the housewives business is a long-standing debate for fans of the franchise. Some believe that children are strictly off limits, while others believe that children are fair game if they are a certain age and choose to appear on the show. Housewives from the garden state argued this in season nine. Danielle Staub used Margaret Josephs’ non-traditional relationship with her stepchildren against her in an argument. Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania and Goldshneider agreed. Meredith Marks and Jen Shaw had a similar discussion during the meeting of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City when Marks accused Shaw of attacking his son online.
Everyone voices their opinion on the dispute between Goldscheider and Giudice, including housewives from other franchises. It seems to have a lasting impact on the dynamics of the group for the rest of the season. It’s unclear if Gia will make a reappearance this season or if her name will be used to test future points.
