The cast of The CW’s Superman & Lois would love to see various characters featured, but the Dark Knight almost universally tops their list.
The cast of the next Superman and Lois The CW series would like to see many different teams on the show, but the one they favor the most is one with none other than the Dark Knight himself.
“What is your dream superhero team?” ask a promotional video published by the CW network. “You could go with Batman,” says Alexander Garfin, who plays Clark and Lois’ son Jordan Kent on the show. “I want to see Batman,” repeats Jordan Elsass, who plays the couple’s other son, Jonathan.
“I would love to see Batman / Superman,” adds star Tyler Hoechlin, who plays Clark Kent / Superman. “I want to see them work together.” Elsass echoed this last statement.

Hoechlin went so far as to add which Bat-villains he would like to see face the World’s Finest duo. “I like a bit of Two-Face, a bit of Joker action.”
Superman and Lois chronicles the life of the Kents in Smallville, the family’s hometown. Hoechlin’s incarnation of Superman was previously featured on The CW’s Supergirl.
Viewers have yet to see a full appearance of the Dark Knight within the Arrowverse. The CW Batwoman previously featured Kate Kane, played by Ruby Rose, who is the cousin of Batman’s alter ego Bruce Wayne, but that series takes place in the wake of Bruce’s disappearance. Last season’s Arrowverse crossover event “Crisis on Infinite Earths” featured Kevin Conroy as an older, alternate Bruce Wayne who had already hung up the cape.
FOX Gotham It showed the journey of a young Bruce Wayne, played by David Mazouz, on his way to becoming Batman, but that series was not part of The CW’s Arrowverse.
The ever-popular Batman has seen even more interest in recent days, with DC’s recent announcement of Batman ’89 by Sam Hamm and Joe Quiñones, set in the 1989 Tim Burton continuity bat Man movie, and based on the character’s appearance set by Michael Keaton.
In modern history, the character has been heard of, but largely unseen on television. Should Superman and Lois The cast got their wish, a successful introduction of the Dark Knight in the Arrowverse continuity could lead to a possible permanent home for Batman on the small screen.
Superman and Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Dylan Walsh, Alex Garfin, Jordan Elsass, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Inde Navarrette, and Wolé Parks. The series premieres Tuesday, February 23 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
