Harley quinnthe hyenas Outbreak Y Lou are like children to her, something she admits from the beginning on the pages of Batman White Knight Presents: Harley Quinn. In this series he has two children with Jack Napier, also known as the Joker, a boy named Bryce and a girl named Jackie. She points out that they are her children, but her hyenas are her babies. Harley would do anything for her hyenas, who were a gift from Jack before he died. It turns out they would do anything for her too, as one of them made the ultimate sacrifice and gave his life to save his daughter.

In Batman White Knight Presents: Harley Quinn # 5By writer Katana Collins and artist Matteo Scalera, Harley has been working with the Gotham City Police Department to take down the killers known as Starlet and the Producer. Now that she is about to ruin her plans, Starlet wants to end her once and for all. The easiest way to end a powerhouse like Harley is with a simple accident, like a gas leak, which is exactly the option Starlet chooses. When Harley’s apartment building explodes, her hyenas spring into action. Harley easily locates Bryce, but Jackie is a slippery tike and has escaped from daycare. When Harley orders Bud to take Bryce to safety, he pulls her out too, despite a fight, leaving Lou at the house to track down Harley’s daughter.
Harley is completely heartbroken and distraught, arguing with the firefighters to let her in. Fans of hers know that she could probably survive entering the burning building, but she is denied entry. Against all odds, Lou crashes out of an apartment building window carrying little Jackie in his mouth. Harley picks her up, grateful that she and Joker’s daughter are alive, but then realizes that Lou has collapsed. It seems her hyena paid the ultimate price to show Harley how much she loves her and her family.
Starlet has accomplished nothing except making Harley even angrier than she already was. If you weren’t determined to stop her before, you sure are now. Harley is no fool and will quickly realize that it was an attack directed at her, not an accident. With one of her precious babies losing his life because of her, Starlet is going to get into a lot of trouble.
Readers should expect Harley to fill up Harley quinn over her now to avenge the death of Lou. Starlet should be shivering in her black and white boots, because Harley won’t forget what she’s done, and Outbreak it probably won’t either. The next issue is sure to be a disaster, but for now take a look Batman White Knight Presents: Harley Quinn # 5 – on sale now in stores and online.
