2005 Fantastic Four director Tim Story is as excited as fans at the idea of seeing Galactus in his proper form in the MCU.
Tim Story, the director of 2005 Fantastic four and its 2007 sequel, Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer, is excited to see the Marvel Studios version of Galactus. Tim Story has directed numerous films throughout his career, including Barber Shop, Think like a man, and is currently promoting his latest movie, Tom jerry, which just premiered in theaters and on HBO Max. Marvel Studios recently announced that they are making their own Fantastic Four movie featuring Spider-Man: No Way Home the director, Jon Watts, at the helm. Marvel Studios has recently begun meeting with the film’s writers, and while fans are speculating whether the Fantastic Four will appear first on another MCU property, Tim Story is excited about the prospect of seeing Galactus done right on the big screen.

In an interview with FromHollywoodStory expressed his excitement for Marvel Studios to reinvent Galactus in a more comical looking design. Tim Story stated how certain people behind the scenes of Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer They weren’t comfortable noticing Galactus in his proper form. Tim Story expressed his enthusiasm by saying: “What I’m waiting for is when they [Marvel Studios] Get your hands on Galactus and show him Galactus, I can’t wait. I can not wait.“
Tim Story has declared his love for Fantastic Four comics in the past and it was one of the reasons he directed the 2005 film and its sequel. He has gone on the record before, saying how 20th Century Fox doubted Galactus’s appearance in Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer. Story decided to envision the character as the cloud, then stated that any director hired for the Silver Surfer spinoff film, at the time in development, could perform Galactus in their own way. However, that movie never worked out, and so far the cloud is the only incarnation of Galactus on the big screen.
While Galactus is not currently set for any Marvel Studios appearances, the fact that Marvel Studios is now developing a Fantastic four there seems to be a better chance of it appearing in a movie Many suspect that he is the ideal villain of Phase 4, after Thanos. With Marvel Studios exploring more cosmic stories in Eternal, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3., Captain Marvel 2, Y Thor: love and thunder, there’s a good chance the world eater could appear in one of those movies even before a Fantastic four film.
