However, Macy shows no interest in owning a business, running her day-to-day affairs, or listening to her deputy chief, Swan.

At one point, Macy tells Swan that there are “more important” things to worry about than kombucha, like relieving herself and her sisters of their new magical allergy. Initially, Macy only cares about resolving The Charmed One’s magic allergy, further inspired by the side effect of the affliction of not being able to touch her romantic partner, Harry, without burning his skin. Macy wants to prioritize working with Harry’s research, finding an answer for the sisters’ allergy in the runes of Norway.

Harry and Macy learned in Season 3, Episode 4, that the magical allergy started, somehow, within the secret walls of the command center, leading them to discover ancient runes etched into blocks of stone. Macy wants to investigate this with Harry further; however, ancient glyph decryption has to wait when Swan sends more than 10 text messages per day to Macy about SafeSpace.

As Macy tries to save the Charmed Ones from their new afflictions, it is Swan who reminds her of her mortal obligations, especially with the new power she has in Seattle. Swan confronts Macy, after Macy ignores her text messages during her demon hunting Omon affairs, to see if Macy would hear her about how she would like SafeSpace to work.
