A high-resolution texture pack has been released for Call Of Duty: Warzone that seeks to improve textures on both weapons and operators in the game.
Call Of Duty: War Zone now looks even better on PS4 Pro and PS5 with a new high-res texture pack. The incredibly popular Battle Royale mode has kept millions of players happy over the past year of the global pandemic and has spanned two Obligations Releases with regular updates from Activision. The mode itself is playable on all Xbox and Playstation consoles, plus PC, where the texture pack is sure to get most of its use.
Call Of Duty: Warzone Launch in March 2020 and amounted to 75 million players in its first few months. The mode combines the classic shooting of Obligations with the dynamic chaos of real battles like Unknown player’s battlegrounds Y Apex legends. The mode is cross-platform as well, allowing players of all skill levels and game settings to play with their friends. The free play formula that War zone uses has proven to be so successful that Activision is looking to integrate similar formats for future releases, and the popularity of the game does not appear to be diminishing anytime soon.

In a post by Chronicle of videogames, it is detailed that Activision has released a recommended high resolution texture pack for PS4 Pro and PS5 players, as well as any gamer with high resolution capable game settings. The 8.4GB package claims that it defines the textures for both the weapons and the operators within the game, but Activision has not released official details showing the specific graphical changes that the package brings to the table. This is sure to be welcomed by many players, as the weapon skins and operator cosmetics have become a staple of the mode.
The Texture Pack is also available on Xbox Series X and Xbox One X with similar changes to in-game textures. The game itself is a lot of fun, but it will be interesting to see how Activision continues to support the game’s changing meta while potentially integrating.
