In The flash In the season 7 premiere, Mirror Master learned a truth about her existence that changes everything, and the knowledge will make her a more ruthless and ruthless opponent, according to showrunner Eric Wallace.
Mirror Master / Eva McCulloch found out that her husband Joseph Carver was telling the truth all the time that she was not his wife because she actually died the night the particle accelerator exploded. Wallace said TVLine that the reveal “will give him a bigger, bigger and, unfortunately for Team Flash, much more dangerous mission to accomplish.”

At the end of “Alls Wells That Ends Wells,” McCulloch saw security camera footage of his transformation into the Mirror Master. She then saw herself thrown by the explosion in the mirror and die, and a distraught Carver screaming for help. Slowing down the footage and looking back at it, McCulloch also saw a duplicate form on contact when it hit the mirror; when McCulloch fell to the ground, the duplicate was thrown into the Mirrorverse.
“I died. All I thought was a lie. I am the duplicate of the mirror,” Mirror Master told himself.
“Where you used to want to help humanity, you will now have a much lower opinion of people,” Wallace explained. “And she’s going to misbehave in the worst possible way.”
The flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdés, and Tom Cavanagh. The new episodes air Tuesdays at 8 pm ET / PT on The CW.
