Before falling in love with the arts and succeeding as an actress, Katherine Langford’s fame in her native Australia was being one of the best nationally ranked swimmers in her age group while she was still in high school. Knowing that, one could safely assume that playing a character who calls the ocean her home would be second nature to the actress. In that case, I have the perfect Marvel character for this situation.
The MCU has yet to present Namor the Sub-mariner, who is often referred to as Marvel Comics’ less popular iteration of Aquaman, despite being before him for a few years. When they give him his own movie, they should make it a team movie with his cousin, Namora, who is also gifted with all of your basic semi-aquatic skills. Also, I don’t think anyone would be opposed to giving the heroine her own movie, especially with Katherine Langford as the lead.
