Holland has played Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, for the MCU since 2016, when he made his triumphant debut in Captain America: Civil War. Since then, he has appeared in two solo films and two Avengers movies, and with Spider-Man: No Way Home, will complete his trilogy. After that, his contract ends, although Holland has said that he would love to continue playing Spider-Man for as long as Marvel wants.

Filming in Spider-Man: No Way Home It’s been in the works since the end of last year, and all signs point to it being one of the biggest movies the MCU has ever produced. Even while avoiding rumors that it will dive into the multiverse and feature actors from previous Spider-Man films, Holland has consistently promoted the project. When asked what he was currently working on, Holland confirmed that he is still in the middle of Spiderman. “I really enjoy doing it“He said. He couldn’t share much more, naturally, but he added:”It has been very hard, it is Definitely the hardest we have ever done.. “This is the sixth MCU movie from Holland overall, and it’s clearly shaping up to be one of the biggest.

The MCU has featured some large solo movies before, with Civil war maybe it comes to mind first (some fans even stated that it was The Avengers 2.5). However, the franchise’s Spider-Man films have previously stuck to slightly smaller realms, particularly in the case of the first high school-focused installment. That Spider-Man: No Way Home It’s inspiring qualifiers like the most difficult and the most ambitious speaks volumes.

You could say that this proves the idea that Spider-Man: No Way Home will explore the Marvel multiverse. Despite Holland’s best attempts to downplay the rumors, fans are still hopeful that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will appear in the film. His presence would certainly Spider-Man: No Way Home an ambitious movie, and it’s likely going to be difficult to make all the rumored cameos work. Of course, until Marvel confirms the movie’s story, it’s all speculation. Fortunately, Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled for release later this year, so hopefully the wait for more information won’t last much longer.
