This largely depends on where in the movie the Guardians would appear. Given that many of them have finished filming, it seems likely that they only play a small role. However, the movie could still be the same length as Endgame if that’s what the story needs.

One of the first set photos to emerge saw Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt on set, with Thor sporting long hair, a shaved beard, and a red ’80s leather jacket. 5 Jump in time
It’s clear from the set photos that the characters sport a familiar but slightly altered appearance, with Star-Lord sporting a slightly longer beard, Nebula also looking slightly enhanced, and Thor back to his usual physique.
Reddit user, Jedi Master, suggests that there could be a time gap between Avengers Endgame Y Thor: love and thunder. Marvel movies generally run in real time (in most movie cases), so it seems fitting that Thor 4 could be set in 2026. Will Marvel include a longer time skip? Fans will have to wait and see.
4 Groot adult
Fans haven’t seen the grown-up Groot since the original. Guardians of the Galaxy, with Baby and then the teenage Groot taking his place until the end of Endgame. One of the photos from the set of Thor 4 includes a guy in gray pajamas, wearing the classic motion capture suit they often wear to film Rocket or Groot scenes.
Reddit user, Supertalias, theorize that fans could get a version between teenage and adult Groot in Thor 4. It would be great to see an adult version of the current Groot after not seeing him for 8 years.
3 Tooth grinder
In one of the first set photos to be released, fans can see a white horse / goat-like creature in the middle of the set. Reddit user, MoreFeet6278 has introduced the idea of it being Toothgnasher or Toothgrinder, which are two goats pulling Thor’s chariot in the comics.
Thor still has Stormbreaker at the end of Avengers Endgame, who has the power to summon the Bifrost. Since Thor can fly, why would he need two mythical goats to pull his chariot? This could easily be a cameo of the two creatures in a quick scene or they could play a bigger role.
two Natalie Portman
On a similar topic, just because Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder were goats in the comics, Taika could easily trade them for horses for the movie. It would seem like a more appropriate option in the MCU given that Asgardians rode horses in the previous Thor movies.
Reddit user, chantosjr, notes that Natalie Portman was previously seen participating in horse riding training, which invites the idea that Portman’s character’s horse could be a movie version of Toothgnasher or Toothgrinder.
1 Kree
One of the other photos from the set that were revealed The set shows Nebula and another blue alien on set. User ywingpilot4life suggests it could be a Kree. Now that the Kree have settled in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, it is not unlikely that one of them will appear alongside the Guardians in Thor 4.
Furthermore, the Skrulls made their way to Spider-Man: Far From Home so maybe Marvel is crossing over their alien species in other MCU movies.
