Developer id Software recently confirmed the first trailer for DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part Two will be released on Monday, March 15th.

Developer id Software plans to show the first trailer of Eternal DOOM: The Old Gods – Part Two next week on Monday March 15, also known as Ides of March. At present, details about The Old Gods – Part Two details of the launch remain under lock and key. However, the “Year One Pass” wording for the DLC pack indicates that it could be released before the end of this month, as the shooter originally hit stores in March 2020.

DOOM Eternal Old Gods – Part One released last fall, featuring all-new story content, new enemies, and three never-before-seen levels. Overall, the first part of the DLC was well received by critics and gamers alike. Upped the ante in terms of combat difficulty and debuted with additional mechanics. However, there were some shortcomings, specifically regarding enemy selection and the general lack of character progression. Still, there is high hope that id Software has been able to improve what The Old Gods – Part One did well last year.

Recently, the ID was shared in a post on CONDEMNofficial Twitter account confirming DOOM Eternal: The Old Gods – Part Two The first trailer will be released on Monday March 15th. A new artwork also accompanies the news, with a fresh look at the formidable opponents that Doom Slayer will face in the next expansion. The post lacks a release date for the DLC, but such information may emerge during the trailer next week.

The fact that the teaser is so imminent seems to indicate that the DLC will be released sometime in the near future. The first trailer of the Ancient Gods – Part One hit the web in late August, for example, about two months before the content was released in October.

Of course, fans also expect news about DOOM Eternal’s long-awaited next-gen updates. An overview of the 2021 roadmap provided by id Software last holiday season informed players that full support for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S would come sometime this year. At the time of writing this article, the developer has yet to offer more details on this. But more information will surely surface once The Old Gods – Part Two the content is published.
