Lesley-Ann Brandt shared some insights into her character’s fate in the show’s final season, adding that she’s open to a Maze spinoff set in hell.

Disappointing some Luci fans, Lesley-Ann Brandt (Mazikeen) confirmed that her character will not rule Hell in season 5b or the show’s sixth and final season.

Lucifer Fans speculated that the show ends with Maze ruling as the Queen of Hell, replacing Lucifer so he can live on Earth with his love Chloe Decker. However, Brandt told fans during a live question and answer session on StageIt that this will not be the fate of Maze since we will not see her in hell. “We can see a version of his hellish behavior, but we never physically see it there,” he said.

While this spoiler might be sad news for some Maze fans who wanted to see her rule Hell soon, Brandt stated that he would like to visit more Maze stories in the future, specifically Hell. “You know, sometimes I feel like there’s so much more to tell in terms of its obscurity,” Brandt said. “And like, you know, that’s the side of her that I feel like there are so many stories to tell: her in hell. I always like to see what she was like in hell.”

When asked if he would consider starring in a Maze-centric spinoff series, the actor replied, “I totally would.”

Thinking more about the perspective, the Mazikeen actor added some conditions to the possible show, noting, “I would definitely be willing to do it. I think, not necessarily in our world, because I think what makes our show special and successful is the cast and the chemistry that everyone has in these relationships. “
