After being delayed a year due to the pandemic, Survivor is finally going into production in season 41 in Fiji, shares Jeff Probst in a new video.
Survivor is back in production when the show begins filming for season 41, reveals host Jeff Probst. Released in 2000, the reality competition show became an instant phenomenon. Follow groups of people stranded together on an island where they compete in tribes and challenges as they vote each other for a million dollar prize. Since season 33, the show has been filmed on location on the islands of Fiji. After airing its 40th season of celebration with all previous winners, the next season of Survivor was delayed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Survivor is one of the most challenging shows to shoot because of its high production and viewers have been waiting for production to start again.
Now, in a recent Twitter post, Probst, who has hosted Survivor Since its inception, he has proudly exclaimed that the show will be rerun in Fiji for season 41. Probst also claims that the show adheres to all protocols to ensure the safety of the players and the team. Given that the show shoots two seasons in a row per year, it is highly likely that season 42 will also be filmed shortly after this season ends and airs in early 2022. Survivor Has been on hiatus for nearly a year, the show has consistently been the subject of discussion with its cast due to protests of police brutality against African Americans, as well as recent controversies surrounding the show itself during its previous seasons. With an announcement made by CBS for the cast of their reality shows to be 50% people of color and Survivor In addition to setting rules and limits, it will be exciting to see the program return and reflect these new changes.
