The lead writer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag has announced that he has left Ubisoft for a “new adventure.”

While the game had a few glitches on its initial release, it received praise for its storytelling and its return to stealth; something that many felt they had lacked from previous Assassin’s creed dues.

It has now been announced that Assassin’s Creed ValhallaLead Writer, Darby mcdevitt, has left Ubisoft for “go on a new adventure. “McDevitt shared the news with his followers on Twitter, stating that he had had a”decade of working with brilliant people, creating stories and characters for an amazing series, and interacting with our wonderful fansWhile I was at Ubisoft Montreal. McDevitt included a photo of his Ubisoft business cards in his post, which was followed by an outpouring of love and best wishes from friends and fans, including the Assassin’s creed Twitter handles itself. This particular message of goodwill for McDevitt was accompanied by a tribute video that covered some of the many characters and stories McDevitt created for him. Story content aside, Ubisoft continues to add and expand Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. More recently, the developer has confirmed that one-handed swords will make its way to the Viking epic, following months of fan requests online. Along with the new team, Ubisoft has also released various patches for the game to address the aforementioned bugs and glitches that players have experienced.
As it stands, McDevitt appears to be enjoying some well-deserved R&R, having updated his Twitter bio to “Currently: catch up on reading and writing. “Regarding Assassin’s creed franchise, it is currently unknown what the future holds. That is not to say that many have not tried to guess: rumors from India, China and Japan have been “leaked” on the Internet, although AC Valhalla It is less than one year old. Whatever, and wherever, the series goes from here, however, the next Assassin’s creed Head Writer certainly has some pretty big shoes to fill.
