The character dining room was not open at Disney World at the beginning of the pandemic. Here’s what the parks have done to make it safe

Chef Mickey’s has gone from being a buffet to a more family-friendly adventure.

The current menu features items like Mickey-shaped pancakes, a bread service that includes sweet muffins, and these crispy fritters and donuts. Yogurt, fruit and a large platter of meats including eggs, bacon, sausage and more are also placed front and center parfaits. However, the two biggest highlights for adults may be the “loaded” potato and cheese casserole and the banana bread French toast, which is more of a dessert than a breakfast, with mascarpone cream and lots of chocolate.
