Starting today, Zynga’s Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells is celebrating the Easter holidays with a special spring event update that will see players match decorative Easter eggs to earn special rewards.
The event is hosted by the Weasley family’s own matriarch, Molly Weasley, who advises players to keep an eye out for the coveted Easter eggs. Fun and decorative eggs will drop randomly in Match-3 puzzles and collect simply by merging the eggs. Once players have earned enough eggs, five stored chests will be filled with exclusive in-game rewards. Also added in the update were golden eggs that will enter puzzles from time to time, where players must double tap or swap the golden eggs to trigger a 3 x 3 blast across the board. Once activated, The Niffler will make his first appearance in the game to collect The Golden Egg from the puzzle.
Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells is an original Zynga Match-3 mobile game that has grown in popularity since its launch. The most significant difference between this and other Match-3 games is that players can earn XP to become stronger, acquire and level up spells, participate in all kinds of magical events, and connect and compete with other players using clubs. Full of magical tradition and Harry Potter mythology, and Zynga has upped the ante with this exciting new update.
This is not the first time that Zynga has helped players earn exclusive in-game rewards. During the game’s launch in September 2020, players who installed in the first week received a welcome pack containing all sorts of essential starter rewards. The game also included a holiday update late last year.
