CBR has an exclusive first look at Image Comics’ Shadecraft # 2 from Joe Henderson, Lee Garbett, Antonio Fabela and Simon Bowland, debuting in April.

Either way, these shady new developments won’t make surviving high school, or your gangly teenage years, any easier. Building on the fear and unease shown in Shadecraft # 1, Zadie takes a brave step forward in the second issue of Image Comics, trying to understand what this supernatural mystery has to do with her. Ricky, or whoever she thinks Ricky is, is willing to share what she knows. Unexpected help seems like a silver lining to your problems. But then she meets her new high school guidance counselor and things get even stranger.

When artist Lee Garbett was asked what fans can expect at No. 2 and Shadecraft“We will definitely see how Zadie’s world opens up, for better or for worse, and we will take her to places she never knew existed. There are some big decisions to make and inner demons and crazy shadow monsters fight along the way.”
