The Boba Fett seen in The mandalorian has changed significantly since its previous appearance in Return of the Jedi. Because of this, he can become a benevolent leader (or as close to one as a crime lord) and eventually Ahsoka’s ally. If their interests were aligned, one of the best ways Ahsoka could help Boba is to answer for him to the leaders of the Hutt Clan, particularly Rotta. If Boba Fett’s syndicate becomes an enemy of the Hutt Clan, Ahsoka could prevent a possible war by asking Rotta to cease hostilities as a favor, in payment to Tano for saving Rotta’s life.
