We now know all of the Shifter Titans as well, having been introduced to the War Hammer Titan in the first few episodes of Season 4. 8. The Female Titan – Annie Leonhart

At the end of season 4, Annie is still crystallized and out of action. The last we have seen of her was that she was in the company of Armin as he ventured about what happened in the last five years. While the Female Titan is versatile, swift, and has similar armor abilities to the Armored Titan, she is no match compared to the other Shifting Titans currently in play, such as the Warhammer Titan and the Colossal Titan. Maybe in Part 2 of the final season we’ll see Annie emerge and play a role, but for now, she’s down for the count.

7. The Cart Titan – Pieck Finger

Since the beginning of season 4, we see the new version of the Cart Titan, now in the hands of Pieck Finger. Shown against the might of the Middle East Allied Forces, it is an effective weapon that can crush the people below it while running and carry another more powerful weapon on its back. But during the raid on Liberius later, we see how effective the scouts’ thunder spears are against him, bringing their possessor to the brink of death. While the Cart Titan is a great Titan to have in battle, it is ultimately more effective against individual humans than other Shifter Titans.

6. The Beast Titan – Zeke Yeager

Beast Titan Attack On Titan

Zeke Yeager’s Beast Titan certainly fell from its pedestal of power in Season 3. After Levi took down the Beast Titan for the first time, the strategy became clear to the other Scouts and he became less of a threat. During the first battle of season 4, Marley versus the Middle Eastern Allied Forces, we see the Beast Titan simply throwing stones and completely destroying an entire naval fleet.

But during the Liberian Raid, although Marley’s warrior candidates were very eager for him to defend them from the demons of Paradis, Zeke’s Beast Titan is quickly and efficiently taken down. Levi implements the Thunder Spears and quickly steals Zeke from the neck of the Beast Titan. So while the Beast Titan is strong, it is no longer a match for the humans around it, much less the other Shifter Titans.

5. The Titan of the Jaw – Porco Galliard

The Jaw Titan Attacks

Possibly the deadliest of the Shifter Titans, the Jaw Titan certainly made a name for itself in Season 4. Beginning with the Battle of the Middle East Allies, Porco’s Jaw Titan proved even more fearsome than Ymir’s previous version. It is incredibly fast, with sharp jaws and claws. He even has armor on his face now, which helps protect him. Unfortunately, the Raid on Liberio proved that while the Jaw Titan is incredibly strong and a worthy foe, it is no match for Eren as the Attack Titan. Eren smashes Porco, literally, and uses his jaw to claim the War Hammer Titan for himself.

But we haven’t seen the latest from Porco’s Jaw Titan. In the final scene of the last episode, Porco sneaks up on Eren from below, having returned to Paradis with Pieck. That’s where the ending ended, so we’ll have to wait until Part 2 to fully see the scope of that battle. But, needless to say, the Jaw Titan is still a mighty Titan Shifter, even up to the last few seasons.

4. The Colossal Titan – Armin Arlert

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 7 Colossal Titan

The Colossal Titan is still a powerhouse, only by natural ability. It towers over even the tallest of the other Shifter Titans, and its fiery vapor makes it difficult for anything to approach safely. The only time we actually see the Colossal Titan in action in Season 4 is against humans, not other Changeling Titans. Perhaps this is also due to the new wielder: Armin is not a violent person by nature, so attacking other people (or Titans) does not come naturally to him.

During the assault on Liberio, Armin transforms in the middle of the docks, destroying them and nearby homes, killing countless innocent people. The only other time we see the Colossal Titan is in a flashback before the people of Paradis cooperated with the Marley volunteers, showing the Titan beaching their ships. Even when he was using the Titan, Armin tried not to use his full power as he knows how devastating it can be.

3. The Armored Titan – Reiner Braun

While the Armored Titan doesn’t make too many appearances in battle in Season 4, he is still Eren’s greatest enemy and physical foe. During the Allied Forces Middle East battle, we see Reiner’s Armored Titan absolutely destroy the wall and one after another destroy the cannons that pose a threat to his fellow Titans. After this battle, Reiner takes time to think about his future and his past, contemplating the morality of his own decisions.

When we see him at the end of Part 1, about to transform and fight Eren, it’s clear that he’s been through an attitude adjustment of some kind. It seems more resolute. So while the Armored Titan is naturally the powerhouse of the Titans, it seems like Reiner may have more motivation to use it to its fullest. Especially since the Armored Titan is Eren’s weak point.

2. The Titan Warhammer – Eren Yeager

Although Eren is the current owner of the War Hammer Titan, we have yet to see him put it to use. During the brief battle during the Liberian Raid, the War Hammer Titan’s previous owner, Lara Tybur, wielded it against Eren’s Attack Titan. We quickly see how versatile and powerful this Shifter Titan is, capable of creating anything from himself, including weapons. While we can’t yet attest to how Eren will use him, we know that he is one of the most powerful Shifter Titans and in Eren’s hands he could be capable of anything.

1. The Attack Titan: Eren Yeager

Although the Attack Titan may not technically be the most powerful Shifter Titan, in the hands of Eren Yeager it has become a dominated monster. Now, in combination with the War Hammer Titan’s abilities and the Attack Titan’s need to constantly charge forward, Eren has all the cards. Especially since it also has the Founding Titan, the most powerful Shifter Titan of all. During the raid into Liberio, Eren displays the Attack Titan’s full capabilities, even narrowly escaping Lara’s War Hammer Titan. It’s incredibly powerful, and with Eren wielding it, the Attack Titan is the Shifter Titan to fear in Part 2 of the final season.
