Falcon and Winter Soldier Photo Shows Zemo’s Fierce Retribution

A new image from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier shows Helmut Zemo in his iconic purple mask as he looks past a bed of flame.

Although Helmut Zemo escaped captivity in the last episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, a new photo shows that he and his purple mask have big plans ahead of them.

The photo shows Zemo somewhere undisclosed in the iconic mask and signature jacket as he looks over a bed of flames. However, there is no context for who or what you may be looking at.

While the backstory behind Zemo’s mask has yet to be revealed, the new Disney + show has expanded its motives since. Captain America: Civil War while incorporating more attributes from the character’s comic. It is revealed in “Power Broker” that Zemo is a baron with his own family servant, private jet, and a number of connections on the island of Madripoor, where they attempt to locate information on the Flag-Smashers. Teaming up with Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes also revealed the logic behind Zemo’s dislike of superheroes as he feels that those who turn super soldiers into symbols are intentionally ignoring their imperfections and anyone who wishes to become one is embracing the supremacy.
