Tesla’s Easter Egg: What Happens When You Say “Open Butthole”

There are plenty of Easter eggs hidden inside a Tesla, but this is unlikely to be one that most EV owners will come across alone.

While all Tesla Owners will already be familiar with how to open the charging port, it was recently found that a very specific voice command can also be given to unlock it. Tesla vehicles come with a number of features and Easter eggs that aren’t always that obvious, but it seems highly unlikely that this is something the average Tesla unit would accidentally stumble upon.

Tesla remains a popular choice for those in the market for a new electric vehicle. While they aren’t the cheapest, there have been several reports lately that suggest a more affordable model will arrive at some point, opening Tesla’s door to more consumers. Regardless of the model chosen, a constant is the user experience, with all the company’s vehicle models running on the same Tesla operating system. In some cases, that may result in the same issues arising, but it also means the same benefits, perks, and Easter eggs.

Depending on the model, there is more than one way to open the charging port. However, a Tesla owner discovered and explained (in a recent cheep) a way to open the charging port door using an unusual voice command. Basically, if the driver says “open ass“The charging port will open automatically, forgoing the need to manually open the cover or use the more traditional”open charging port“command. Similarly, saying”close buttholeIt seems to be enough to close the loading port when you are done. It remains to be seen when exactly Tesla added support for the unorthodox voice command, but many users have since done so. confirmed that is working.

A surprising, but not surprising feature from Tesla

Tesla temperature control

While it seems unlikely that many Tesla owners will find voice command easily, it’s not surprising either. After all, Tesla vehicles also come with a ‘fart mode’ that can be accessed and enabled through the ‘Emissions Test Mode’ option on the Tesla toy box. It’s worth noting that some users also report that other variations of the word work as well, so it’s unclear how many there are.

While these are fun additions to the Tesla experience, they are not the sum. The company has built its name on advanced features and technological solutions, such as its full autonomous driving functionality, and they are what really provide buyers with the added value. Still, it’s hard to argue that some of these Easter eggs and features don’t add value to the overall Tesla experience either.
