The WWE Monday Night Raw ad team is reorganizing with the addition of Adnan Virk from MLB Network and the departure of Samoa Joe and Tom Phillips.
Wwe is shaking the Monday night Raw announce the team by hiring Adnan Virk from MLB Network.
“I am delighted to join the leading sports entertainment company in my new role with WWE,” Virk said in a statement. “As a kid who grew up idolizing WWE Hall of Famers like Bret Hart and Ric Flair, the opportunity to call on modern legends like Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Charlotte Flair and so many others alongside Corey Graves and Byron Saxton is truly humbling. “
Joining Virk in Raw Commentaries as of April 12 will be Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. Meanwhile, current Raw commentators Tom Phillips and Samoa Joe will host 205 Live and return to action in the ring, respectively. Graves is also a member of the Friday night of SmackDown commentary team with Michael Cole, although it is unclear whether his Raw role means that a similar reorganization is expected for the blue brand.
Virk’s career has spanned from ESPN’s SportsCenter to the College World Series. Despite joining WWE, he will continue his MLB Network duties for at least the 2021 season.
Wwe Monday night raw airs Mondays at 8 pm ET on USA Network.
