Marvel Comics has revealed Aaron Kuder’s cover for July Thor Annual # 1, in which the God of Thunder is seen fighting an evil version of himself.

Written and illustrated by Kuder, Thor Annual Issue 1 is one of eight annuals released this year as part of Marvel’s Infinite Destinies crossover event, which revolves around the latest quest for the Infinity Stones. For Monkeys fighting robots, the official synopsis of the issue shows a celebration of the World Tree, which is interrupted “when a mysterious guest, and his otherworldly powers, interrupts the party. And his ‘plus one’ is a dark and twisted version of Thor who is determined to become the ruler with an iron fist of all kingdoms! “

Thor and the other leaders of the Ten Kingdoms (and, uh, Hawkeye?) Have gathered for a World Tree celebration.
