Emilia Clarke joins Samuel L. Jackson on Marvel's 'Secret Invasion' series on Disney +

Oscar winner Olivia Colman will co-star in the superhero show alongside Ben Mendelsohn and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

game of Thrones alum Emilia clarke is approaching a deal to join Samuel L. Jackson at Marvel’s Secret invasion series, which will debut on Disney +.

Marvel is putting together a solid cast for this superhero show, who will co-star Ben mendelsohn, Kingsley ben-adir and Oscar winner Olivia colman.

Secret invasion It will follow a group of shapeshifting aliens who have been infiltrating Earth for years. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury, while Mendelsohn will return as Talos, the Skrull general who fought the Kree in Captain Marvel. Ben-Adir will play the main villain, while the roles of Colman and Clarke are being kept under wraps for now. Variety broke the news of Clarke’s casting.

Kyle bradstreet will write the series and will executive produce along with Marvel Kevin Feige, whose TV unit has achieved consecutive successes among WandaVision Y The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which closes its first season next Friday.

Clarke earned four Emmy nominations for her thrilling role as Daenerys Targaryen on HBO. game of Thrones, and went on to play the female lead in Solo: A Star Wars Story. The British actress also played Sarah Connor in Terminator Genisys and recently starred alongside Henry Golding on Paul feigromantic comedy Last Christmas. Clarke will soon be facing Jack huston in the long overdue crime thriller Out of suspicion.

I didn’t look game of Thrones, so I haven’t seen the full scope of what Clarke can do as an actress, but her work in Only Y Terminator I was quite disappointed. We hope he does better in the MCU and that Bradstreet will give him a three-dimensional character to play alongside his talented co-stars.
