HBO has released the first official House of the Dragon images, based on George RR Martin’s Fire and blood and set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
The first photo features the duo of Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans). Next up is Lord Corlys Velaryon, aka “The Sea Serpent” Steve Toussaint. The latest is Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) and Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith). We also took a look at an updated logo for Dragon House.
Recently released set photos for House of the Dragon captured the Targaryen duo of D’Arcy and Smith, both seen walking on a beach in Cornwall. The full cast of House of the Dragon was officially announced in April with HBO providing an inside look at the production room.
Created by George RR Martin, Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan Condal, Dragon House stars Paddy Considine as King Viserys I Targaryen, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower and Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole. .
