As if Lady Dimitrescu wasn’t terrifying enough anymore, a Resident Evil Village modder has replaced her face with that of Thomas the Tank Engine.

In anticipation of Resident Evil VillageAt Friday’s launch, modders have already enhanced their gameplay demo experiences by replacing the hideous Lady Dimitrescu with something a little more familiar: Thomas the Tank Engine. The last entry in the Demonic resident The series has promised fans more thrills and thrills than ever before, and Ethan Winters’ story continues after the tumultuous events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

Before the launch of Resident Evil Village, Capcom released several demos. While brief, these demos offered players an opportunity to dig a little deeper into the game’s starting Village. The first demonstration, TownIt was a heavy scene with little practical action except for a few rebellious lycanthropes. The Castle The demo, however, allowed players to come face to face with Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters as they tormented Ethan throughout the grand location. Sadly, the internet’s beloved Lady Dimitrescu remained for the most part out of sight. Clearly, one player was unhappy with the lack of Resident Evil VillageHowever, Tall Vampire Lady, and as such created a mod that put her in the Town demo instead of his daughters. It could be assumed that this would be enough to appease the Demonic resident community, but the assumption would be wrong.

Mud Crazy potato (via Pc gamer) took the remodeled enemy Lady Dimitrescu from the Resident Evil Village demo and added the face of Thomas the Tank Engine to the body of the towering figure. The end result can be more disturbing than the normal demo, and becomes even more surreal when combined with the distorted Thomas the tank engine theme song that plays as the modified abomination advances menacingly towards Ethan. While many can’t wait to be chased by Lady Dimitrescu, this is an instance where players would surely turn around and run as the developers intended.

While it is certainly horrible, this is not actually the first mod to be changed Resident Evil Village’s attackers with characters from treasured children’s television shows. Recently, the castle’s zombie-like enemy maidens were replaced by none other than Barney the Dinosaur. Usually a figure of joy and love, these versions of the beloved purple dinosaur are terrifying as they make their way giggling maniacally towards the player.

With Resident Evil VillageWith only two days to go until release, these will surely be far from the latest mods that turn the once friendly faces of childhood heroes into nightmares. Capcom has selected an already solid line of Demonic resident enemies that players will go head-to-head with in just a couple of days, and it’s unknown how many more modders they’ll be cooking up in the coming months.
